Support for different needs
For blind and visually impaired people
You can place an order by phone at +370 6077 7704 every day from 9:00 to 21:00. Our staff will help you choose a product and arrange payment and collection or delivery. Prices are the same as on the website.

Our branch staff are trained to communicate so that your transaction goes calmly and without rush. You can also contact us in writing: tavex@tavex.lt.
For people with mobility impairments
The Elizabete, Alfa, Spice Life and Ditton branches are accessible to wheelchair users. More details in the “Branch accessibility” section.
Other needs
If you need information from the website, such as terms or the price list, in another format or in simpler language, contact us and we will prepare it.
Our accessibility statement
SIA “Tavex” (reg. No. 40003585673) is committed to making its website meet the accessibility requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882, as implemented in the national laws of Lithuania and Latvia on the accessibility of products and services.
This statement applies to the website www.tavex.lt, including the online shop, the currency exchange calculator and the Tavex ID customer profile.
Our goal is that you can:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings;
- zoom text up to 400% without the text going off the edges of the screen;
- navigate the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software;
- listen to the website content using a screen reader (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack);
- complete a purchase – from choosing a product to payment – without a mouse.
Compliance status
The website www.tavex.lt is partially compliant with the EN 301 549 standard and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 (level AA). The non-compliant items are listed in the “Partially accessible content” section.
We are currently preparing to move the website to a new platform, which will be built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements. The move is planned to be completed in Q3 2028. Until then, we are fixing the issues that can be fixed on the current website.
How to use our website
Zooming text
In most browsers, “Ctrl” (on Mac – “Cmd”) and “+” zoom in, “Ctrl” and “–” zoom out, and “Ctrl” and “0” reset the original size. When zoomed, the content reflows and you do not need to scroll horizontally.
Screen reader
We recommend: on Windows – NVDA (free) or JAWS; on Apple devices – VoiceOver; on Android devices – TalkBack.
Keyboard navigation
Using the keyboard, you can add a product to the cart, choose the delivery and payment method and branch, and fill in the order form: “Tab” moves to the next element, “Shift” + “Tab” to the previous one, “Enter” opens it, and the arrow keys select from a list. For some elements, the focus is not visible (see below).
Partially accessible content
We have assessed the accessibility of the website and are aware of the issues listed below. If they prevent you from using our services, please use one of the alternative options.
Buttons and links without a text description
Some buttons and links shown only as an icon have no text description that a screen reader can read. For example, the buttons to increase and decrease product quantity (+ and −), the search button, removing a product from the cart, close buttons, and the menu, account and social media icons.
Form fields without a name
The product quantity field (on the product page and in the cart), the search field, the currency calculator fields and the language selector have no name that a screen reader can read. The checkout form fields do have names.
Drop-down lists at checkout
The branch and country lists work with the keyboard (using the arrow keys), but a screen reader does not announce them as a list or read their name.
Focus visibility
When using the keyboard, it is not visible in parts of the website which element is currently selected. This applies to buttons (for example, “Add to cart”), checkout form fields, the choice of delivery and payment method, and checkboxes. At the top of the page (in the header), the focus is visible.
Contrast
Some text has too little contrast against the background. For example, the checkout field names and the “Important information” text, prices in the cart summary, the indicators of your location on the website, the language selector and the price update status.
Notifications of changes
When a product is added to the cart, a screen reader does not announce it. The “Confirm order” button is inactive until all required fields are filled in, but it is not explained which information is still missing.
Carousels (sliders)
The carousels on the home page and in the product image gallery are not fully usable with a screen reader and keyboard.
Alternative text for images
Some images in the product gallery and the security certificate image at the bottom of the page have no alternative text.
Keyboard navigation
The website has no “Skip to main content” link, so on every page you first have to go through the header menu.
Links in text
Some links within text differ from the surrounding text by colour only.
Page structure
The pages do not mark the main content area, which makes it harder for screen reader users to find the main content quickly.
Third-party solutions
Online bank payments take place on the platform of the payment service provider Montonio, and the order form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. We do not fully control the accessibility of these solutions. If you have difficulties, choose payment by bank transfer or payment at a branch, or place your order by phone.
